CASE steam tractor powering saw mill: (substantial horsepower could be generated from a
single-cylinder steam engine, even at low rpm due to the fact that a double-acting steam
engine has four power pulses per revolution of the crankshaft, as opposed to one power
stroke every other revolution for a typical 4-stroke gasoline engine. This steam engine
could be 60 horsepower, or more. Engine starts working hard about minute 3:00 as a log
passes through the saw.

That is a great video.

I really did not know the history of the development of the early locomotives.

Quite interesting.

Thanks for posting.
