Inspiring future engineers

Pick a problem. Search for a solution. Make an impact.

Engineering starts with curiosity.

Engineering is for people who are curious, creative and ready to make an impact

It’s not just about formulas or fixing things. Engineers design the things we use every day. The apps on your phone. The stadiums and transport you use. The medical breakthroughs saving lives. The clean energy driving a more sustainable future.

Engineering shapes the world – and the future.

If you love solving problems, working in teams, thinking differently or asking “what if?” – you’re already thinking like an engineer.

There isn’t one type of engineer and there isn’t one pathway. Engineering is part of sport, health, space, gaming, sustainability, robotics and more. Whatever you’re into, there’s likely a place for you.

And it starts with curiosity.

Engineered for Impact

Engineers Australia has partnered with Year13 to create Engineered for Impact, an interactive online hub that brings engineering to life.

This isn’t just information. It’s an experience.

Students can take dynamic quizzes to discover what type of engineering suits them, watch videos featuring real engineers sharing what they actually do, and explore how engineering powers everything from renewable energy and medical breakthroughs to sport, space and smart cities.

With tailored content for students, parents and teachers, Engineered for Impact showcases the creativity, diversity and real-world impact of engineering and why it’s a career worth exploring.
